Truck Box Install Guide

Installation of the the Alumiknox™ truck tool box is very quick and simple. It takes about 15 minutes to complete and the only tool needed is a 10mm open end or socket wrench.

To avoid accidental damage to the box or vehicle finishes, it is advisable to have a second person help lift and position the box onto the truck bedrails. The box should rest as close to the passenger cab as possible, placing into final position with the lid fully opened with sufficient clearance to avoid contact with the back panel or window of the cab when the lid is raised.

Secure end wings of box to bed rails by hooking curved end of “J” hooks to the underside of bedrail, two hooks on each side. Insert threaded ends of “J” hooks through available slots at bottom of wing sections. Each threaded end should be positioned within slot to enable curved end to surround underside of bedrail. Place washers and tighten nuts until hooks are “cinched-up” against underside of bedrails. Make sure the fit is snug, with no play in the mounted wing sections.
